Format: 16mm film transferred to digital video
Duration: 1 minute & 28 seconds with text, 1 minute & 15 seconds without text
Year: 2011
This film is the result of a collaboration between myself and a stream in Woodstock, NY at the Byrdcliffe Artists Residency. Using an exacto knife, I scratched a line into black film leader and left it in a stream for a week. The dirt, rocks, and water in the stream created the flecks of white that you see, and the soundtrack.
