The Grand Style Orchestra (GSO) Remote Recording Project began in March 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Once a month, orchestra leader Shorty Grapes sent a guide track to "core-chestra" members, who then performed and recorded an improvised track with their instruments at home. Each month, Shorty edited the final mix within a 48 hour window. I have known GSO for many years because my husband, John Frentress/Johnny Buffalo, is a founding member. Under the pseudonym Anna Log, I created several music videos, in a similar spontaneous spirit, to accompany the music.
